 On May 7th, in Febres, the District Track and Field Championship for the Under-12 category took place. Thirteen schools with athletics teams in their educational projects participated, enthusiastically competing for the district titles in sprints, hurdles, endurance races and relays, high jump, long jump, and shot put.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our group was represented in the competition by seventeen excellent participants who worked very hard in representing our teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of this great journey, we achieved nine podium finishes, three of which correspond to district titles. We highlight the new district champions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rodrigo Ramos<\/strong> \u2013 in the long jump; Erica Mendes <\/strong>e Weverton Silva \u2013 <\/strong>in the Shot Put.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other honorable mentions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Rodrigo Ramos<\/strong> \u2013 runner-up in the high jump;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Flor\u00eancio Manjate<\/strong> \u2013 3rd place in Shot Put;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Gabriela Faria<\/strong> \u2013 runner-up in the endurance race;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Jos\u00e9 Azevedo<\/strong> \u2013 runner-up in the sprint and 3rd place in the hurdles;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Tom\u00e1s Machado, Rodrigo Ramos, Sim\u00e3o Monteiro and Jos\u00e9 Azevedo<\/strong> \u2013 3rd place in the 4x60m relay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collectively, <\/strong>we conquered the district title <\/strong>through the team of Boys' children's clothing <\/strong>comprised of the students:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Francisco Santos and Vasco Cadima from class D5B, Flor\u00eancio Manjate, Jos\u00e9 Cardoso and Rodrigo Ramos from class D6A, Sim\u00e3o Monteiro, Tom\u00e1s Machado and Weverton Silva from class D7A and Jos\u00e9 Azevedo from class D7B.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
