{"id":16899,"date":"2025-03-26T10:50:24","date_gmt":"2025-03-26T10:50:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.aemontemor.pt\/?p=16899"},"modified":"2025-08-28T10:50:44","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T10:50:44","slug":"ekui","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aemontemor.pt\/en\/ekui\/","title":{"rendered":"EKUI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the Montemor-o-Velho School Group, the EKUI methodology is already a reality!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The brand \u201cEKUI\u201d stands for \u201cEquity, Knowledge, Universality, Inclusion\u201d and was created by Professor Celmira Macedo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aemontemor.pt\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/EKUI-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5306\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>EKUI is a multisensory and inclusive methodology for learning to speak, read, and write. The methodology is implemented through a set of cards with four forms of representation: orthographic, Braille code, Portuguese Sign Language, and the phonetic alphabet (speech sounds).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On March 18th, EKUI material kits were delivered for the implementation of the methodology in four preschool classrooms within the school cluster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aemontemor.pt\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/EKUI-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5307\"\/><\/figure>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No Agrupamento de Escolas de Montemor-o-Velho, a metodologia EKUI j\u00e1 \u00e9 uma realidade!
