The Montemor-o-Velho School Group joins the campaign. \u201c"Watch Your Back"\u201d<\/strong>, an initiative that aims to raise awareness among students, parents\/guardians, and the school community about the importance of a Correct posture and healthy habits when carrying school backpacks.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Excessive weight and improper use of backpacks can cause pain and postural problems in children and young people. Therefore, the campaign highlights simple but essential recommendations: take regular breaks while studying, exercise regularly, use lightweight and well-fitted backpacks, distribute weight correctly, and ensure the backpack does not exceed the recommended height. 10% of the child's body weight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the official campaign website \u2013 lookbehindyourscenes.pt<\/a> - is available a online calculator<\/strong> which helps parents and students check if the weight of the backpack is within the recommended limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With small daily gestures it is possible to promote a Healthy posture and preventing back pain<\/strong>, contributing to the well-being and academic success of our students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
