Participants included... 651 students, distributed among the four schools in the group: Montemor-o-Velho Basic and Secondary School, Pereira Basic and Integrated School, Dr. José dos Santos Bessa Basic School with 2nd and 3rd Cycles (Carapinheira) and Arazede Basic School with 2nd and 3rd Cycles. If a national ranking were drawn up by the number of students enrolled per school, the group would surely be among the most representative, and at the district level, it would occupy a prominent position compared to the other schools in the Coimbra district.

Among the results, there was a concentration of outstanding performances in the 2nd cycle classes (5th and 6th grades), especially at the Montemor Basic School, with several students achieving the... Top 1% national, including Carolina Morais (6th grade, class B.6B), the student with the highest score in the group. Other classes stood out for the high number of students in Top 10% and Top 25%, This demonstrates that systematizing participation has the potential to further improve results in the coming years.

The analysis by school shows consistent performance across all levels of education. Montemor-o-Velho Basic and Secondary School, The Benjamin and Junior categories showed the best results, with students in the Top 1% and Top 10%, especially the 6th grade, with classes full of students in the Top 10% and Top 25%. Pereira Basic School, Students with very high scores are emerging in the Benjamin category, including the Top 1%, and several classes with good representation in the Top 10% and Top 25%. Carapinheira and in Arazede, Classes with multiple students also stood out in the Top 10% and Top 25% rankings, demonstrating good performance despite smaller numbers of participants.

By levels, the Benjamins (5th and 6th grades) They showed exceptional results, with several students ranking among the best in the country. Cadets (8th grade), Participation was limited to the Montemor-o-Velho Basic and Secondary School, where some classes managed to place students in the Top 10% and Top 25%, demonstrating good collective performance, although without a Top 1% finish. Juniors (9th and 10th grades), Classes from all schools participated, with particular emphasis on students in the Top 10% and Top 25%, reflecting the potential for improvement by consolidating annual participation. Finally, in Seniors (11th and 12th grades), Participation was concentrated among students in the TGEI vocational course and secondary school students attending the Computer Applications B subject, with students appearing in the Top 25%, demonstrating good performance in the higher tiers.

In addition to Carolina Morais, the following class deserves special mention among the groups. C.5A (Pereira), with two students in the Top 1%, and several 6th grade classes from the Montemor and Pereira schools with multiple students in the Top 10% and Top 25%. Among the Juniors, classes such as A.9A and A.9B (Montemor Secondary School) e E.9A (Arazede) They demonstrated consistent performance, while at the Cadet level, the B.8A and B.8C (Montemor) They showed a higher concentration of good results.

This participation marks the group's return to the Bebras Challenge after a six-year absence, demonstrating the interest and motivation of computer science students and teachers in developing computational thinking and problem-solving skills. The group's performance confirms the potential of our students and reinforces the value of systematic and integrated participation in the challenge in the coming years.

O Agrupamento de Escolas de Montemor-o-Velho marcou presença na edição de 2025 do Desafio Bebras, destacando-se pelo elevado número de participantes e pelos resultados alcançados em diversos escalões.
