On March 20th, classes 10E, 10F, and 11E, along with some students from class 12D of the Professional Sports Technician and Computer Equipment Management Technician courses, participated in a study visit to Lisbon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this activity, during the morning, the students were able to visit the \u201cVasco da Gama Aquarium\u201d and see up close some pieces \u2013 a legacy of King D. Carlos \u2013 that bear witness to the first steps of oceanography in Portugal, but also peek into the small aquariums where aquatic organisms and animal species that inhabit lakes, rivers and seas intertwine in various forms and colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Returning to the bus, after the Benfica and Sporting stadiums had been venerated and\/or booed, depending on the "fervent" fan groups that had positioned themselves accordingly, and after some brief information about the architect Santiago Calatrava had been provided, it was time to settle down and then stretch our legs "to see the views," following the proper route through the pleasant commercial area nearby in Parque das Na\u00e7\u00f5es. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then it was time to access the \u201cPavilion of Knowledge\u201d and playfully enjoy the various activities available at the exhibition, namely the interactive exhibition \u201cSuperbeasts!\u201d and the \u201cXplora\u201d room, where there was great fun with experiments in physics, mathematics, optical illusions explored in psychology, and short space trips for the more intrepid, some of whom even ventured into the \u201chigh flights\u201d of the available bicycle, almost reminiscent of other flights \u2013 those with an umbrella \u2013 of the famous character Mary Poppins!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a great day, full of adventures, learning, lots of laughter, and great camaraderie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to the participants who were "Five Stars" and a special thank you to the teachers who, together, made this adventure possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was "highly" awesome, guys!!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
