The 20th edition of the Mega Sprinter Nacional took place on March 20th and 21st at the Elvas Municipal Stadium, bringing together more than 600 students and around 100 teachers from the 24 Local Development Centers (CLDEs) and the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CLDE Coimbra delegation consisted of 23 student athletes, 2 student referees, and 4 teachers, including 4 students and one teacher from our school group, who shone by winning 2 podium places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rodrigo Louren\u00e7o (Infantil A) from EB Arazede, participated in the Mega Sprint event, qualifying for the semi-finals and finishing in 9th place. He also participated in the Mega Jump event, achieving an excellent 3rd place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diogo Rodrigues (Infantil B), studying at EBS Montemor-o-Velho, also participated in the same events, achieving 16th place in the Mega Sprint event and an honorable 4th place in the Mega Jump event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gabriela Faria (Infantil B), studying at EBS 2,3 Dr. Jos\u00e9 Santos Bessa, Carapinheira, ran a well-managed race and won gold, becoming the national champion in the Mega Km event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, Sara Carnim, a student at EBI de Pereira, enrolled in the PNFJAE (National Plan for the Training of School Arbitrators), performed her duties as an arbitrator with great distinction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
