DAC \u2013 Traditional games for 5th and 6th grade students transform the last day of classes into a moment of celebration of learning and the spirit of mutual support that characterizes the school.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The morning of June 12, 2026, was marked by the DAC activity and pedagogical articulation between the 1st and 2nd cycles, integrated into the scavenger hunt promoted by the Natural Sciences and Physical Education subjects. The initiative involved classes from the 4th and 5th grades, reinforcing cooperation between cycles and valuing interdisciplinary practices. Throughout the scavenger hunt route, students participated in various stations of traditional games, organized by themselves. Among the challenges were adapted bowling inspired by the traditional "Fair Play" game, the ring toss, sack races, and the "take, put, and leave" game. Each station combined movement, strategy, and team spirit, promoting active and meaningful learning. After completing the treasure hunt, in an environment of sharing and discovery, the 5th grade students explored the traditional games presented by their 6th grade peers, namely Musical Chairs, Tic-Tac-Toe, the Game of Malha (a traditional Brazilian game similar to horseshoes), and the Handkerchief Game. The 6th grade students then tried out the traditional games led by the 5th grade students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This interaction between different educational levels contributed to the development of social skills, autonomy, responsibility, and collaborative work, reinforcing the idea that everyone has something to teach and to learn. Likewise, students discovered new ways to play and socialize away from mobile phone or computer screens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activity was widely praised by the educational community, standing out for the creativity, dynamism, enthusiasm, and involvement of the students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
