As part of the Pink October movement, dedicated to the prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer, and in order to mark the day\u00a0October 15th \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Breast Health Day,\u00a0<\/strong>The PES project team (Arazede Coordinator in conjunction with the ATL and the school coordinator) motivated the entire Arazede Basic School community in the initiative \u201cDress for this cause!<\/strong>\u201c", inviting everyone to wear a piece of\u00a0Pink (or white) clothing\/accessory.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result culminated in the formation of a pink ribbon in front of the school building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

involving all students from the 1st to the 3rd cycle, teachers and operational assistants, as can be seen in the attached photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign aimed to raise awareness of the problem, to show that prevention is important, and that a cancer diagnosis is not a death sentence!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
