Students shine in the District Table Tennis Final.

The District Table Tennis Final took place on April 30th at the Jorge Galamba Marques Pavilion (Figueira da Foz), with the support of the João de Barros Basic School.

The AEMOV delegation was represented by 12 student players and 2 student referees (Afonso Sapateiro from E.6°A and Daniel Cavaleiro from A.9°A) from the Arazede Primary School and the Montemor-o-Velho Primary/Secondary School, and they were accompanied by teachers Fernando Torres and Mónica Cortesão.

The positive attitude, focus, and desire to win were constant throughout the competition, and the results exceeded the best expectations, with 4 out of 8 students in the Junior and Youth categories qualifying for the Regional Championships.

BOYS' YOUTH 

5th place – Santiago Pereira (E.9°B)

8th place – Luís Cardoso (E.8°A)

9th place – João Canoso (E.9°B)

Collectively, the boys' under-12 and under-14 teams from Arazede Basic School stood out, winning 1st place as a team. The boys' under-16 team achieved 2nd place.
