AEMOV Students Participate in the District Mega Sprinter

The Mega Sprinter District event took place on February 26th at the Tábua Municipal Stadium.

AEMOV was represented by 4 delegations: one from the Arazede Primary School, another from the Dr. José Santos Bessa Primary and Secondary School (Carapinheira), another from the Montemor-o-Velho Primary/Secondary School, and yet another from the Pereira Basic and Secondary School.

The event was well organized, thanks to the collaboration of the group's teachers, Andreia Costa and Pedro Pires, and the excellent behavior of all the students. 

Regarding the results obtained by our students, we had 11 students who finished in the top 6 of the various events, and 4 of these reached the podium. The biggest highlight was student Weverton Silva, from EB 2,3 Dr. José Santos Bessa (Carapinheira), who won the Vortex Launch competition and qualified for the National Mega Sprinter, which will take place on March 28th and 29th in Caldas da Rainha.
