Celebration of International Mathematics Day and Pi Day

On March 14, 2025, the students of the 2nd cycle of the Basic and Secondary School of Montemor-o-Velho celebrated International Mathematics Day and Pi Day.  

Inspired by this year's theme "Mathematics – Art and Creativity," fifth-grade students created images using Tangram pieces, and sixth-grade students constructed the symbol of... Pi ,  in three dimensions and Using various materials, they researched interesting facts about Pi. , as well as its history.

The works produced are on display in the corridor on the first floor of the Montemor-o-Velho Basic School.

The organizing group acknowledges the students' commitment and active participation in making this activity a success.
