Environmental Education for a Sustainable Future

O Eco-Schools It is an international environmental education program that promotes sustainable behaviors in the daily life of schools. It involves students, teachers, staff, parents, and the local community in building a more responsible and ecological future.

O Montemor-o-Velho School Group She actively participates in this project, developing initiatives that involve the entire school community in preserving the environment and promoting good sustainable practices.

 

Project Objectives

How We Participate

Our school group develops several activities throughout the school year as part of the Eco-Schools program:

  • Recycling and reuse campaigns

  • School gardens and composting

  • Waste collection and selective separation

  • Actions for cleaning and preserving nature.

  • Creative projects using reusable materials

  • Celebration of themed days: Tree Day, Earth Day, Mobility Week, among others.

Green Flag Award

Our regular participation has been recognized with the awarding of the Green Flag, This award symbolizes a school committed to building a more sustainable world. It represents the collective effort of everyone who is part of the school group.
