EKUI
At the Montemor-o-Velho School Group, the EKUI methodology is already a reality!
The brand “EKUI” stands for “Equity, Knowledge, Universality, Inclusion” and was created by Professor Celmira Macedo.

EKUI is a multisensory and inclusive methodology for learning to speak, read, and write. The methodology is implemented through a set of cards with four forms of representation: orthographic, Braille code, Portuguese Sign Language, and the phonetic alphabet (speech sounds).
On March 18th, EKUI material kits were delivered for the implementation of the methodology in four preschool classrooms within the school cluster.
