Sports Holidays – Summer 2025 in Montemor-o-Velho

The summer edition of the Sports Holidays is about to begin and promises days full of physical activity, fun and discovery!

The Sports Holidays – Summer 2025 initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Montemor-o-Velho, in conjunction with the School Group, and is dedicated to children and young people aged between 7 and 14 years. The program runs from June 30th to July 18th, over three weeks full of enriching experiences and varied activities. The initiative aims to promote healthy lifestyles, social interaction, knowledge of the territory, and contact with various sports and cultural practices. Canoeing, museum visits, activities in the classroom of the future, athletics, river descent, swimming, karate, and football are just some of the activities that will mark this edition of the Sports Holidays.

The program costs 60 euros per week, a price that includes all activities, insurance, meals (lunch and afternoon snack, four days a week), a t-shirt, and specialized technical support. On one of the weekdays, lunch and snacks are the responsibility of the participant.

Participation is limited to 50 places per week, with participants organized into two groups of 25 to ensure a better experience and support.

Between June 13th and 17th, the registration period is exclusively for residents of the municipality, and will be extended to all interested parties from June 18th onwards.
