VISIT TO THE MUNICIPAL MUSEUM CONVENT OF THE ANGELS

Given that on the day we did the Trail Poetry node Castle The Convent of the Angels was closed for renovation, but this Friday, May 30th, we went to visit this point of interest, the Municipal Museum, in the Convent of the Angels.

The Museum commemorates the glorious Montemor-o-Velho native Fernão Mendes Pinto and his work. Pilgrimage, as well as other pilgrimages and the Age of Discoveries. It also shows us the journey from the first traces of occupation in Montemor-o-Velho to the 20th century. 

The 12th-grade sports students really enjoyed visiting the museum and showed great interest, interacting with the guides throughout the visit.

The museum is very interesting and attractive, and the guides are very dedicated, engaging, and friendly.

We thus finished our trail and began our visits to the Museum. Yes, the Montemor-o-Velho Secondary School made the 1st visit to the Museum!

I highly recommend a visit to the Museum!
