Notice to the Educational Community

Please be advised that, due to rising water levels which are severely impacting roads and preventing the normal transport of students and passengers, there will be no classes tomorrow for students residing in the Union of Parishes of Abrunheira, Verride and Vila Nova da Barca, and in the Parish of Ereira.
This decision was made in coordination with the Municipality of Montemor-o-Velho, and the absences of the affected students will be duly justified.
The situation will continue to be monitored closely, and new information will be released regarding the coming week, according to how conditions on the ground evolve.
It is also reported that the Meãs do Campo Primary School will reopen this Friday, after the completion of the cleaning work carried out following the landslide that occurred during the early morning.
