“Get dressed for this cause!”

As part of the Pink October movement, dedicated to the prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer, and in order to mark the day October 15th – Breast Health Day, The PES project team (Arazede Coordinator in conjunction with the ATL and the school coordinator) motivated the entire Arazede Basic School community in the initiative “Dress for this cause!“", inviting everyone to wear a piece of Pink (or white) clothing/accessory. 

The result culminated in the formation of a pink ribbon in front of the school building.

involving all students from the 1st to the 3rd cycle, teachers and operational assistants, as can be seen in the attached photos.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness of the problem, to show that prevention is important, and that a cancer diagnosis is not a death sentence!
