B-Link Project
Project B-Link gives students a voice in the fight against bullying.
Since October, the 6th grade C class has been involved in the B-Link Project, developed in Personal and Social Development classes, with the collaboration of trainer Filipa Rebola. This initiative focuses on the prevention and combating of bullying and cyberbullying, seeking to reduce the psychosocial risk factors associated with these problems and encourage positive attitudes, as well as more active student participation in building a safer school environment.
Throughout the various sessions, students participated in debates and activities that addressed topics such as respect for others, empathy, the conscious use of social media, and ways to deal with conflict situations. These moments allowed for the sharing of ideas and experiences, contributing to the development of critical thinking and communication skills. Posters on the topic of bullying were created and are displayed on the 1st floor of the Elementary School, with the aim of raising awareness of this issue throughout the entire educational community.
One of the most memorable moments of the project was the recording of a podcast with the class, in which the students debated and answered various questions related to the topic of bullying, reflecting on its causes, consequences, and possible forms of prevention. This process involved the collaboration of content creator and musician Pedro Gonçalves, whose participation brought a personal and motivating perspective to the students.
The B-Link Project has thus proven to be an enriching experience, encouraging students to take an active role in promoting a more respectful, inclusive and supportive school environment.
