AE Montemor helps Leiria

The Montemor-o-Velho School Group, through the MOV+Solidário Club, promoted a campaign to support the victims of the Kristin storm.
The solidarity campaign aimed to collect essential goods to support the victims of Storm Kristin, which affected the Leiria region.
The initiative saw strong mobilization from the educational community, involving students, teachers, operational assistants, parents/guardians, and local partners, who responded generously to the appeal launched by the club. Various essential goods were collected, including non-perishable food, hygiene products, and other basic necessities.
On February 18th, teachers Ana Neves and Marisa Almeida, accompanied by teachers Arlete Silva, Isabel Rama, and Mónica Cortesão, traveled to Leiria to deliver all the collected material, ensuring that the donations reached the affected populations.
The School Group and the MOV+Solidário Club thank the educational community for the spirit of solidarity, mutual support, and citizenship demonstrated, reinforcing the importance of small actions that make a big difference in the lives of those who need it most.
