Nautical Activity
On April 22nd, students attending the Specialized Support Center participated in an enriching activity at the Nautical Center, providing them with a different and highly meaningful experience in their school journey.
Transportation to the location was kindly provided by the Arazede Parish Council, allowing students to enjoy this experience in an accessible and organized manner.
During the activity, the students had the opportunity to experience canoeing, using kayaks and always being properly equipped with safety vests. The session was accompanied by the Physical Education teachers responsible for the Canoeing and Rowing Training Center – Nautical Activities, ensuring not only safety, but also the necessary technical and pedagogical support.
This type of activity plays a fundamental role in the overall development of these students. Beyond the physical component, it promotes autonomy, self-confidence, and a spirit of overcoming challenges, providing experiences that are outside their usual context.
Interaction with the aquatic environment, combined with teamwork and exposure to new activities, contributes to increased inclusion, motivation, and emotional well-being.
Moments like this highlight the importance of providing diverse and tailored opportunities, allowing each student to explore their abilities, overcome challenges, and build positive and meaningful experiences in their educational journey.
