Solidarity Campaign – Toy Collection
During the month of December, the Dr. José dos Santos Bessa School promoted a solidarity campaign entitled "Christmas Verbs: Love, Give, Share – 3 verbs, one smile," reminding everyone that Christmas is also written with gestures.
The initiative was promoted by the 9th grade B class, in conjunction with their Portuguese teacher, and its main objective was to encourage the educational community to participate in an act of solidarity.
The campaign consisted of collecting used toys, but in good condition, that students no longer used. Two collection boxes were made available on school grounds, allowing everyone to participate.
With this action, the students sought to mobilize the school around the importance of sharing, helping, and transforming Christmas for other children, making it happier.
The school community responded very positively, demonstrating that when the verb "to give" is conjugated, many smiles appear.
Let's continue to conjugate these verbs and spread acts of solidarity!
