Autism Awareness Day
On April 15th, students from the 5th B and 6th B classes at the Montemor Secondary School came together and carried out an activity full of symbolism to mark the... Autism Awareness Day. Dressed in blue and holding hands, accompanied by their respective Class Directors, they formed a human ribbon, an international symbol associated with autism awareness.
An initiative of the Department of Special Education, the activity's main objective was to promote inclusion and respect for difference in a world that strives to be increasingly tolerant.
We believe that small actions like this can make a big difference, as they aim to promote the development of values such as empathy, solidarity, and respect for others.
