An unforgettable experience in Figueira da Foz.

During the month of March, several classes from the school group participated in study visits to Figueira da Foz, as part of the activities of the Sports Training Center for Nautical Sports at the Dr. Joaquim de Carvalho Secondary School.

Classes 12B1/B2 (March 4), 11th D1/D2 (March 11) and 12A (March 18) had the opportunity to try surfing and bodyboarding, in sessions organized by the Surfing Figueira and iSurf Club schools, and a local bodyboarding school.

The initiative, organized by Professor Dora Guerreiro and accompanied by teachers Maria Rama and Teresa Girão, was marked by the enthusiasm and participation of the students. For many, it was their first contact with the sea in a sporting context, providing moments of overcoming challenges, cooperation, and learning.

The instructors highlighted the students' excellent behavior, emphasizing their commitment, respect for safety rules, and positive attitude.

This activity reinforces the importance of experiences outside the classroom, promoting healthy lifestyles, contact with nature, and personal and social development.
