Schools Closed – February 13th

The Montemor-o-Velho School Group informs that, due to worsening weather conditions and the consequent increased risk of flooding, all schools in the municipality of Montemor-o-Velho will be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 13th, for safety reasons.
This decision, of a preventive nature, was taken in coordination between the Montemor-o-Velho School Group, the Municipality of Montemor-o-Velho and the Civil Protection entities, with the main objective of safeguarding the safety of children, young people, families and the entire educational community.
The situation will be monitored continuously, and new information will be provided whenever there are changes in traffic and safety conditions.
