We present the sporting achievements of the UAARE students who were part of our school in the past academic year of 2024/2025.

Leonardo Barbosa (11th Grade D Student – Sports Technician)

• European Champion marathon – C1 junior
• World runner-up speed – C1 5000m
• World runner-up marathon - C1 junior
• 9th place – C1 senior – Long distance

Leonardo Kersten (Student 12A)

• National long-distance championship: 24th
• Portuguese Cup for long-distance crews in K2 and K4: 13th and 10th place, respectively.
• Portuguese Cup for K1 200m and K1 500m sprint races: 6th and 11th place, respectively.
• National Champion of Line races – K4 500m
• K1 500m World Sprint Championships: 20th

Hugo Oliveira (Student 12A)

• European runner-up K2 500 meters
• European Championship K1 200 meters 3rd Place
• World Championship K2 500 meters – 4th place
• World Championship K2 200 meters – 5th place

• National Champion of line regattas – K4 500m
• National Champion of line regattas – K2 500m
