6th Grade Study Visit to the Aveiro Science Centre Factory

On May 4th, the 6th grade students from the Montemor-o-Velho School Group participated in their now-traditional Study Visit to the Fábrica Centro de Ciência Viva de Aveiro (Aveiro Science Centre). This activity, held for the fourth consecutive year, provided a day full of experiences, technological challenges, and lots of curiosity.

Throughout the day, 133 students had the opportunity to participate in various activities/workshops, exploring different areas of science and technology: Exhibition – “Hands-on”; Laboratory – “Make your own toothpaste”; Robot Workshop – “Look at the Robot…Spike”; Workshop – “Clap your hands” with the Micro:Bit board; and the activity “Formula Magnet Pilots”.

The visit was met with great enthusiasm and engagement from both students and teachers, reinforcing their interest in science, technology, and hands-on learning.
