From Bread to Ocean

From bread to the ocean: the prize that took the 5th grade A class of Arazede Basic School from last year, now 6th grade A, to Porto.

After winning 3rd place at the Mortágua Intermunicipal Expo, the 5th grade A class from Arazede (from the previous school year) traded bread for the sea and experienced a day of discovery, learning and fun in Porto.

The adventure began last day September 17th, when the students of 6th Grade A of Arazede Basic School 2/3 They set off for Porto to enjoy the prize they won with the project. “"Operation Hot Bread Rolls – from grain to bread"”, developed within the framework of the program Imagine.Create.Succeed – The Future is Yours!.

The first stop was the Water Pavilion, where students explored scientific phenomena through interactive and fun experiments. Creating tornadoes, observing wave behavior, and discovering different properties of water were some of the challenges that provided moments of great enthusiasm and learning. Afterwards, there was time to enjoy the City park, in a pleasant moment of conviviality and sharing.

During the afternoon, the class visited the SEA LIFE Porto, where he discovered the diversity of the marine world and even had the opportunity to watch the feeding of the rays and penguins.

Between experiences, discoveries, and many joyful moments, this visit provided an excellent opportunity to learn outside the classroom and strengthen team spirit.

More than a prize, this trip was The concrete result of the work, creativity, dedication, and cooperation of a group that knew how to transform an idea into an award-winning project and, now, into an unforgettable experience.
