2nd Skating Meeting

On March 19th, the EBI de Pereira hosted the sporting activity "2nd Local Skating Meeting within the scope of School Sports of the CLDE of Coimbra", in the Children's category, which had the participation of more than 70 students, participants and referees, from 4 schools, EBI de Pereira, EB de Arazede, EB Carlos de Oliveira – Febres and EB nº2 de Tábua.   

The event took place throughout the day and was coordinated by the Skating Team Group of the EBI de Pereira. The activity included a set of 5 events, 3 mandatory – Obstacle Course Pursuit, 200m and 500m – and 2 optional, Artistic Skating and Mini-Hockey, with the main objective being to promote sports practice and encourage students to participate in the sport.

Some of the grades obtained by students in our group stand out individually.

In the INF A female category – Carolina Benardes and Maria Guimar Panão, from EBI de Pereira, obtained 1st and 2nd places respectively.

In the INF A male category – Tiago Pinto, Guilherme Correia and Bernardo Andrade, from EBI de Pereira, achieved the three podium positions.

In the INF B female category – Tatiana Nogueira, Lara Almeida and Luana Mendes, from EB de Arazede, achieved the three podium positions.

In the boys' INF B category – Salvador Tinoco, from EB de Arazede, Bernardo Xavier and Francisco Teixeira, obtained the three podium places.

To commend the commitment, dedication, and enthusiasm of all students and their added value to their teaching and learning process. To highlight the healthy interaction among all, based on principles of sportsmanship, citizenship, ethics, respect, mutual support, and healthy lifestyles that contribute to the integral development of their personalities.
