4th AEMOV LAN Party: A Successful Event

Between March 18th and 25th, the 4th edition of the AEMOV LAN Party took place at the Montemor-o-Velho School Group, visiting the schools of Pereira, Carapinheira, Arazede, and Montemor-o-Velho. The event promoted a competitive and collaborative spirit among students through games. Rocket League e Minecraft Sky Wars.

Work Teams and Logistics

The work teams, composed of students, were responsible for the transport, assembly, testing, disassembly, and packaging of the equipment, as well as for monitoring the event. They also ensured the logistics of the food and drinks provided by the sponsors.

The LAN Party culminated more than two months of work, which included the installation and testing of gaming platforms, setting up network scenarios, contacting sponsors, and preparing documentation. The project involved the disciplines of IMEI, EF, SDAC, and CD and was essential for the students' evaluation in module 8 of IMEI.

Support and Sponsorship

The event was supported by the Intermarché hypermarket, the NovoSuper supermarket, the MCLGrafic graphic design center, André Silva, and the Manata jewelry store, whose collaboration was essential to the success of this edition.

Conclusion

The 4th AEMOV LAN Party was a success, promoting interaction, learning, and skills development among students. With another successful edition completed, expectations are growing for future events.
