World Dance Day at School
The Pereira Integrated Basic School celebrated World Dance Day with a special activity, promoted by dancer Tiago Gomes, which involved students from the 4th grade, 2nd and 3rd cycles, promoting artistic expression and interaction between different educational levels.
The initiative took place on the morning of April 30th, with two choreographed presentations prepared for the students with great creativity, rhythm, and enthusiasm. The performances of these modern dances involved the active participation of students, teachers, and even the operational assistants joined in the dancing!
Everyone had the opportunity to showcase their talent and stood out for the energy they transmitted in a moment of sharing that reinforced the spirit of the school community.
The celebration of World Dance Day proved to be a success, encouraging artistic practice and valuing dance as a form of cultural and emotional expression. The school thus reaffirms its commitment to activities that promote the holistic development of its students.
