AEMOV Students Shine in District Cross Country Race

The District Cross Country event took place on January 20th at Praça da Canção (Coimbra), with the participation of approximately 1300 students from most schools in the district.

Our School Group (AEMOV) participated with a delegation of 42 students (8 from Arazede Primary School, 6 from Carapinheira Primary School, 10 from Pereira Primary School and 20 from Montemor-o-Velho Secondary School), highlighting, in collective terms, the 3rd place obtained by the Girls' Under-12 team, consisting of students Gabriela Faria (D.6°A), Luciana Gomes (E.7°B), Tatiana Nogueira (E.7°A), Madalena Lopes (C.7°B), Matilde Santos (C.6°B) and Joana Saraiva (C.7°B).

However, the greatest achievement was in individual terms, as student Gabriela Faria (D.6°A) in the Children's B category, and student Mariana Saltão (A 12°C), in the Youth category, achieved 2nd place in their events, qualifying to represent our Group and the CLDE of Coimbra in the National Cross Country Championship, which will once again be held at Praça da Canção (Coimbra), on the 14th and 15th of February.
