Geometric Constructions with Reusable Materials
Within the scope of the Mathematics subject, the students of the 5th C and 5th D classes developed a set of geometric construction projects using reusable materials, demonstrating creativity, commitment and environmental awareness.
The main objective of the activity was to consolidate knowledge related to geometric figures, lines, angles, and geometric solids through practical projects. To create the projects, students used various reusable materials such as cardboard, plasticine, sticks, packaging, corks, straws, lids, boxes, and other everyday objects, which gained a new purpose.
The results revealed great imagination and ability to apply the content learned in the classroom. In addition to promoting the learning of Geometry in a dynamic and motivating way, the initiative helped to raise students' awareness of the importance of reusing materials and adopting sustainable practices.
The artwork is on display in the hallway on the first floor of the Elementary School, allowing the educational community to appreciate the effort, dedication, and talent of our students.
