Mothers Who Inspire, Books That Transform!
“"On October 9th, a Book Fair was held at the EBI de Pereira, promoted by Editora Zero A Oito, as part of the International School Library Month.".
The initiative was promoted and driven by the Representatives of the Parents and Guardians of the Kindergarten and the 1st Cycle, with the aim of encouraging a love of reading.
At the Food Fair, which took place the following weekend, the Representatives continued selling books, with 10% of the proceeds being donated in books by the Publisher to the School Library.
Throughout the initiative, the children had the opportunity to explore different books, choose their favorite stories, and take new adventures home, in a moment that helped to awaken curiosity, stimulate imagination, and reinforce the importance of reading from childhood.
The activity also included the participation of the teacher-librarian, who led a reading promotion session, providing children with an opportunity to engage with books and discover the pleasure of listening to and sharing stories.
This initiative thus provided an example of collaboration between families and the school in promoting reading habits and enriching children's educational experiences.
Because every book is an open door to the imagination and every story is an opportunity to grow!”
