Portuguese Language Olympics

For the fourth consecutive year, fifty students from the 8th and 9th grades of the Dr. José dos Santos Bessa Elementary and Middle School participated in... Portuguese Language Olympics, an initiative of the Directorate-General for Education in partnership with the Portuguese Teachers' Association, which aims to encourage the proper use of the Portuguese language by young people.

Once again, the outcome was very positive, given that all participating students repeated last year's experience, enjoyed doing it (regardless of the more or less positive results), stated that they learned something, and are ready to return next school year. It is then, surely, that we will have students advancing to the second phase!

For now, congratulations to everyone who accepted the challenge and, of course, to those who achieved the best results!
