Shared Healthy Breakfast
Students set an example of solidarity in a shared healthy breakfast.
The MOV+Solidário Club marked the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, in conjunction with the UNESCO Project and the Health Education Program (PES), associating this event with World Food Day.
Under the theme "From Education to the Eradication of Poverty," the initiative sought to raise awareness within the school community about the importance of education in building a more just, conscious, and supportive society, reinforcing attention to the problem of hunger and the right to healthy food.
On October 16th, the students were the main protagonists, participating in the preparation and sharing of healthy food at a collective breakfast experienced with enthusiasm, joy, and a spirit of unity. More than just sharing food, they shared values such as cooperation, empathy, and respect for others.
The involvement of families was equally fundamental. The collaboration of parents/guardians in preparing and providing food, as well as the encouragement given to their children, demonstrated that education for solidarity is built through a close partnership between school, students, and family.
The initiative was also marked by the collection of non-perishable food items, a result of the generosity and solidarity of the students and their families. The collected goods will be sent through the Solidários com Amor association, contributing to supporting those most in need.
This action highlighted the role of students as agents of change, showing that small gestures can make a difference and contribute to a more inclusive and supportive community.
The MOV+Solidário Club thanks all students, parents/guardians, families, and other members of the educational community for their involvement, collaboration, and generosity.
Educating is also about forming conscious, participatory, and supportive citizens. Together, we continue to transform small gestures into great examples of humanity.
